Braking markers ! Just like the track, you need to learn them Smile

Quote from Nick7 :Anyone knows/tried if it works with Nvidia 3D Vision?

No, but this is from the Oculus forums.
https://forums.oculus.com/viewtopic.php?t=22689

"This was surprisingly easy to hook up, all i had to do was put my rift in "Direct mode" then i started up the game and once I was in the car it all seemed to work just fine, the Logitech G25 was straight forward to hook up as well.
i just mapped the buttons i wanted to change in game. Same with the stick. Easy peasy.

At first i was like naaaaa not sure if i should buy this, but it turns out to be a very very cool rally game !
it runs freaking smooth, and even in the rift it was smooth sailing, the head tracking was spot on Big grin

And its just a great game even tho its early access, i feel its worth it.

-vr (Dirt Rally - Properties - set launch option)
0.5.0.1 (Oculus Runtime needed)
(Rift set to Direct mode)

Vr kicks in right before you jump in the car.
Also there is a read me file in the Game folder."

IMHO, my opinion of IT's direction over the next few years. (Run an IT Co, been here since the 80's)

Local Servers and server systems are on the way out, most will be cloud based, as will most corporate desktops as soon as M$ gets the licencing sorted out.

Web design is still there but your competing with every failed artist in existence. And, Biggy here, this can be done in any country so being local will become unimportant.

There's good money looking at phone/tablet apps, great money if you can come up with a great idea. Lot's of people here are doing iOS/Android business apps and getting great money.

Other than that, programming is always needed, so is scripting which at a minimum you should learn.
Probably be money in Linux servers as not everyone wants the cloud.

Basicly, find an area you love that earns money and learn as much as you can.
VR will be big, 3D printing will grow, Gaming will grow, non windoze OS's will grow.

Hint, holograms will be the next huge thing after VR headsets which won't last.

Read William Gibson, Neuromancer and his Sprawl series for a good heads up about upcoming tech. It should be required reading for your course.

Awesome graphics, but every Dirt version I've driven has felt loose and floaty. If the physics are as good as RSRBR 2015 then it's worth a play.

Any feedback on this before I waste $ ?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eqNHSRBTqc
Yes, the graphics with RSRBR are crap by todays levels, but nothing yet has driven as well !

Ummm, clearly you can make connections that I've missed.

TL:DR; Chinese caught with drugs in NZ, NZ spies on China for US so it's not a surprise that China is pissed and, like the US in Afghanistan, chooses to do drugs into an area that's annoyed them.

I can't remember mentioning either Velcro or Moon landings but who knows what you hear in your head ......

FYI: "The Velcro ® brand of hook and loop was invented by a man named George de Mestral in the 1940's while hunting in the Jura mountains in Switzerland. Mr. de Mestral, a Swiss engineer, realized that the tiny hooks of the cockle-burs were stuck on his pants and in his dog's fur and wondered how they attached themselves. Under the scrutiny of the microscope, he observed the hooks engaging the loops in the fabric of his pants.
Our team is available to help you with your hook and loop purchase Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 5:30pm EST. Please feel free to contact us over the phone or use the link to reach us via email."

I think that, given the current state of the US Space Program that you'll need to contact the Russians if your after a moon landing.

The couple who normally live at the house were not home at the time. Police know who they are but had yet to catch up with them as of yesterday.

In hobbitville, we all know each other anyway so who's doing what doesn't come as a big surprise.

This is far more relevant in Hobbitville: - following a warning the nation is a "sitting duck" for a terror attack.

In the wake of New Zealand joining the war on Islamic State and Security Intelligence Service boss Rebecca Kitteridge confirming New Zealand was at increased risk of a terrorist attack, security expert Bridgette Sullivan-Taylor said New Zealand urgently needed a major domestic security overhaul.

Because, given this we are at so much risk of US terrorists ...........

PHUQ, sorry my bad, the official story is this !

Yes, here we are all scared of terrorists.........., USA, Please keep us safe from this threat that you know nothing about. !

Quote from Klutch :
Quote from Racer X NZ :
A: Not being racist but this is usually people from a major Asian country that shall remain nameless but we (NZ) have arrested a large number of people from this country for identical crimes.

My gf's dad happens to be president of a well known bikie chapter in NZ, and trust me... the asian lads are (usually)not the problem for buying/selling/trafficking/producing drugs hahaha

infact you'll tend to find they're usually just low down pawns/drugrunners that get caught, i gaurentee they would be running them for someone else.

In Hobbitville, that's known as a Tui's comment. Yeah, Right...

So, how come at least 7 of the 9 are 'misc asian' nationality ? Their not a problem here, just another group to do business with, at least in this bit of NZ..

And, of course their here because there's money in the business, it's easy importing into Aus from NZ, much easier than from other countries. And, knowing how poorly we check imports, we'd be lucky to pick up 10 percent of the imports..........

"Understanding the subtlety of this usage requires second-order interpretation of the speaker's or writer's intentions; different parts of the brain must work together to understand sarcasm.
This sophisticated understanding can be lacking in some people with certain forms of brain damage, dementia and autism, and this perception has been located by MRI in the right parahippocampal gyrus.
Research has shown that people with damage in the prefrontal cortex have difficulty understanding non-verbal aspects of language." /s

And, to draw a picture for those the above statement relates to ....

"...form of expression of language often including the assertion of a statement that is disbelieved by the expresser, although the intended meaning is different from the sentence meaning. The recognition of sarcasm without the accompaniment of a cue develops around the beginning of adolescence or later. Sarcasm involves the expression of an insulting remark that requires the interpreter to understand the negative emotional connotation of the expresser within the context of the situation at hand."

And, as a CUE, the use of /s implies sarcasm in the preceeding statement.

Ok, two answers here;

A: Not being racist but this is usually people from a major Asian country that shall remain nameless but we (NZ) have arrested a large number of people from this country for identical crimes. We're considered to be an easy entry to Aust. I think we showed the French that isn't the case but perhaps some people are a bit slow on the uptake.

B: Aliens ......

I really don't think that Scrawen is an option !

And your last option ? Was this a spelling mistake or is Google not performing for me ?

If it's an poll on my views then I'll answer just to keep people happy, (or more likely, unhappy) never believe anything I say on anything. Seriously, just think for yourselves and never automatically believe anything anyone tells you without actually investigating the facts for yourselves.
Not that that's likely to happen Smile

Edit: After reading up on this, just read the article and that will tell you who has been arrested and is facing charges on this matter Smile
Innocent till proven guilty etc......

Just found a NYT article from Jan 1996. (Just under 20 years ago) This was when the NYT was a 'real' paper that actually did journalism.

"Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that our First Lady -- a woman of undoubted talents who was a role model for many in her generation -- is a congenital liar.

Drip by drip, like Whitewater torture, the case is being made that she is compelled to mislead, and to ensnare her subordinates and friends in a web of deceit.

1. Remember the story she told about studying The Wall Street Journal to explain her 10,000 percent profit in 1979 commodity trading? We now know that was a lie told to turn aside accusations that as the Governor's wife she profited corruptly, her account being run by a lawyer for state poultry interests through a disreputable broker.

She lied for good reason: To admit otherwise would be to confess taking, and paying taxes on, what some think amounted to a $100,000 bribe."

And read this, this was PRINTED PUBLICLY in 1996.

"Now we know, from a memo long concealed from investigators, that there would be "hell to pay" if the furious First Lady's desires were scorned. The career of the lawyer who transmitted Hillary's lie to authorities is now in jeopardy. Again, she lied with good reason: to avoid being identified as a vindictive political power player who used the F.B.I. to ruin the lives of people standing in the way of juicy patronage."

See why she is guaranteed to become US President, she's completely qualified !

This is a highly educated and knowledgeable review of the middle east situation.
"Johanna Ganyukova is a graduate from the University of Edinburgh in Russian Studies and is currently completing an Msc at the University of Glasgow in Russian, Central and Eastern European Studies. She is the lead coordinator of RI's Russian translation team"

Who is the aggressor then? Iran? Russia? Or a threat far more insidious? As they say, pictures say a thousand words. So we are told Iran is the threat. Iran, which, as Sophie Shevardnadze of RT rightly pointed out in a recent interview with the deputy Iranian foreign minister, is one of the few countries in the region NOT to have an internal Islamic extremist threat.

Two countries which, funnily enough, do seem to breed terrorists like frantically fornicating rabbits, are Afghanistan and Iraq, which...let me think...oh, yes, I think there was some US involvement there some time ago, and was so beautifully and heroically depicted in the recent blockbuster American Sniper. This connection between terrorism and US interference is not one which seems to be recognized by US policy makers, and instead of learning from past experience, there seems to be either an inherent desire for chaos and bloodshed, a general thirst for global hegemony, or a blind stupidity when making foreign policy decisions. Or, even more likely, a lethal combination of all three.

As for the nuclear threat Iran supposedly poses, and which is continuously emphasized by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, one has to ask, is this issue perhaps distracting us from another concern in the region - Israel’s very own nuclear capability? It is Israel, not Iran, which has been involved in constant conflict in the MIddle East with its Palestinian neighbors, and Israel, which is very guarded about its nuclear stockpile. In 2006, the Federation of American Scientists stated they believed Israel “could have produced enough plutonium for at least 100 nuclear weapons, but probably not significantly more than 200 weapons.” However, others have suggested more recently that this figure could be closer to 300. Does Netanyahu genuinely believe that Iran poses a threat, or is this, in fact, a clever way of distracting the international audience from the real danger.

Not that the Americans are particularly concerned about Netanyahu’s recent calls for a stricter stance on Iran. After 58 congressmen boycotted his recent address to the US Congress, it seems Israel is no longer hitting the right spot. Clearly other things are important to the American Empire — such as domination in the Middle East, and gaining as much control over world oil production as possible. It seems black gold carries weight, for the time being.

Your sounding more like me than I do Smile

Welcome to your Presidential candidates..... Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush.

And here are the odds.... http://www.paddypower.com/bet/politics/other-politics/us-politics?ev_oc_grp_ids=791149

And lets take a look at them.
Likely 2016 Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush owned up to his "mistake" Monday on an unearthed 2009 voter registration form on which he listed his ethnicity as "Hispanic."
http://www.cnn.com/2015/04/06/politics/jeb-bush-hispanic-voter-registration/

And Hillary, where to start really.....?

Lets try Whitewater.
The Clintons have been killing people to keep this quiet for years.
"The police declared that no crime had been committed since the anonymous driver of the 1995 Chevy Pickup truck that struck and killed Moser was not intoxicated nor was he speeding. In Arkansas, that apparently makes it legal to run down a politically unpopular journalist."

“Whitewater” is a term that younger Americans probably don’t remember. And Hillary Clinton was counting on it staying that way.

And the list goes so much further. So far in fact that she is guarenteed to become the next pressy. Let's see if I'm right.

Of course in any civilised country she'd be inside for 25 to life. In the US of A, you become the leader. Go figure......

Thought I'd leave this till I saw how good it was but .... (Review) FAB !!!!

The brit's had this on Apr 4 but we only got to see this awesome kiwi remake last night. For any of you who grew up with this, or watched it later. It's brilliant and true to cannon. Even the puppet motion has been carried over really well. And the little details actually improve on the original. Watch the pool furniture go as Thunderbird 1 takes off !

So, clearly not really RSRBR. But the graphics look better.
